POOL REGULATIONS & ETIQUETTE

In order to ensure safety and the maximum pleasurable use of the Club Pool Complex for all, it is necessary that members, their children and their guests comply with Club rules and conduct themselves with due regard to their own and others’ safety and the rights of others, including respect for Club property. To this end, the Club Manager and the Pool Director have the responsibility to remind members, their children and their guests, as the need arises, of Club rules. Further the Club Manager and the Pool Director have the authority to deny Club privileges to children for cause. They shall promptly report to the Board each such instance of denial of privileges so that the Board may determine what other actions, if any, should be taken.

The Pool Director has been given the authority by the Board of Governors and Pool Committee to enforce these rules without exception and deny pool and deck privileges for misconduct or violation of these regulations and/or locker room misconduct or abuse. Parents are obligated to see that their children abide by these rules.

Any unauthorized use of the swimming pool, such as not registering guests at the Club Office, can result in the offender being deprived of swimming pool privileges for the balance of the pool season. Any repetition of the offense will be reported to the Board of Governors and such disciplinary action will be taken as the Board of Governors deems appropriate.

Changes in these rules and additional rules and regulations may be made from time to time by the Pool Committee and the Board of Governors and will be posted.

LIABILITY

The Club will not be responsible for accidents resulting from the use of the pool and pool area nor for loss or damage to articles of personal property.
