The ball machine is located under the small wooden hut next to the water fountain between Court 9 & 10. The ball machine is to be used on Court 9. Please return it to the same location (unless it is being used after your time). You are responsible for picking up the balls after play. In the event that the machine is not plugged in, the plug for the cord is located between Courts 9 & 10.
INSTRUCTIONS
The machine has several different functions:
1) Direction – where the ball is going. For example, you can set it to go to all forehands or go from side to side
2) Random – keep off
3) Height – usually around 4 to 5
4) Speed – usually 3 to 4
5) Spin – keep minimal around 1 to 2 unless practicing against heavy topspin
6) Delay – between feeds usually a 1 to 2
7) Feed rate – usually 3 to 4. Higher number if you want a cardio workout with less time between each feed
8) Shot sequence – do not use. This should be used if with a teaching professional
