Welcome to Tennis at the BFC led by Nathan LeFevre, Director of Tennis and Platform Tennis and his professional staff. We maintain 14 Har-Tru tennis courts, two of which are bubbled indoor courts during the winter months. We offer a very active and comprehensive tennis program for the enjoyment of adult and junior members of all skill levels. Adult tennis features three men’s teams and seven women’s teams plus a wide range of clinics, organized social matchplay opportunities, tournaments and special events.
Outdoor courts are open from 9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Indoor courts are open from 7:00 a.m. -10:00 p.m.
Members can play on a team, join a clinic, arrange for a private lesson or reserve a court to play with a friend.

Racquets, appropriate apparel, accessories and racquet stringing are available in the Pro Shop.
The BFC Board has decided to adopt and follow the latest NYS and CDC guidance. Effective immediately, fully vaccinated members no longer need to wear masks or be socially distanced while on the Club property. This guidance applies to both indoor and outdoor facilities, which includes the Courtside Bar, Fitness Center, and Squash House. Of course, if any member prefers to wear a mask despite being vaccinated, they are encouraged to do so. We are sensitive to the fact that different members may have different levels of comfort. As a courtesy to fellow members, we ask that everyone be prepared to put on a mask if they are closely interacting with others who may prefer a more conservative approach.
Tips from the Pro
When trying to learn top spin on the tennis court, make sure you are coming from underneath the ball, brushing up on the back of the ball and following through. This modern swing will help create more top spin. The more you accelerate through the ball, the more top spin you will create.
